This is a really great summary. I wish we had more of a pure-play climate bill in the works, although having major steps baked into the two bills is good too. That idea of a substantial carbon tax would go a long way, and I also wonder about some way to create a global competition (mainly between US, China, EU, and India) with massive economic incentives for accelerating net zero.
