Good suggestion. Finding some common ground is the way to make progress, and biodiversity is hard to argue with (although some will say species endangerment or even extinction is simply Darwinian and not related to climate change...).

Thx Marc for your suggestions I. Re Darwin, I get that some extinctions are part of life. But when humans wipe out habitat (especially when it could be avoided), I think we should intervene. Especially when there are important co-benefits avail from protecting habitat like water quality/quantity, storm protection, and climate sequestration.

Nice piece, Mark. Speaking for myself, it’s alway useful to be reminded to reach out to others and connect and reduce polarization. Going forward, would be most interested in your sharing ideas about what individuals, as well as corporations, can do to protect and restore biodiversity. Many thanks, Tom
